After more than a decade in the freight industry, I realized the biggest problem wasn't capacity, it was communication. I worked inside a nine-figure brokerage and later helped grow another from $18 million to $45 million. I saw firsthand how quickly a lack of transparency could derail a supply chain.
I've always believed that while you can't control everything on the road, you can always control how you communicate. In my executive roles, I focused heavily on integrating cutting edge tech not to replace people, but to give our team the freedom to proactively take care of customers and carriers.
